On March 21, the British Embassy in Beijing and the Embassy of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland organised the 2024 St. Patrick's Day Business Breakfast, which was successfully held with the cooperation of Beijing World Financial Centre ( wfc). Joanne Cartland, Head of International Relations at Northern Ireland Civil Service, and Jia Na, Deputy Director of the Northern Ireland Office at the British Embassy, shared insights on the strengths and opportunities for cooperation between China and Northern Ireland, envisioning a bright future for efficient collaboration across multiple fields.
Simultaneously, the 2024 UK CHINA Cooperation Exchange on Life Science and Medical Health Development, hosted by London Medical Exchange in UK and co-organised by the British Embassy in Beijing and the UK's Department for International Trade, was also held at wfc on April 25. This event promoted cooperation and exchange between China and the UK in the fields of life sciences and healthcare, advancing the development of the medical and life sciences industries and exploring further possibilities for collaboration in these areas.
As a supportive partner for international exchange events, wfc showcased the role and advantages of Beijing’s CBD as a leading hub for opening up to the outside world. By effectively building a forward-looking and international platform for communication, wfc has built a solid foundation for China-UK life sciences exchanges and multi-field investment cooperation, further promoting international cooperation and high-quality development in Beijing CBD.
In line with Henderson China’s brand principle of ‘Realising Your Imagination’, wfc will continue to leverage its project advantages to enhance international exchanges and business development, contributing to the accelerated growth of new quality productive forces.
